“Jack and Elaine had enjoyed travelling overseas in their 60s and 70s. With Jack’s love of photography and Elaine’s interest in geneology, they had taken a lot of photos during their trips around the world to retrace family history. They were special times and now Jack had passed, Elaine wasn’t sure her family would want to sort through all the slides once she was gone.
Elaine became interested in having a digital copy of Jack’s slides so they could be shared with the children and grandchildren. Elaine was able to help Bev with cataloguing the slides so they could be digitised and saved in family folders. She was also happy to recall her memories of their times travelling. The oral recordings are now able to be listened to alongside viewing the slides. Elaine hopes future generations will enjoy hearing about the great adventures she and Jack had when they were younger.”
