Change can be challenging, particularly when it affects how or where we live. We’re here to put plans in place to reassure you and your family/whanau that everything’s in hand.
Supporting change
Third Age Solutions® provides support to navigate a way through those changes and to get back on track. They will also assist with any documentation required such as ensuring Wills and Enduring Powers of Attorney are still current, arranging appointments for legal advice, providing neutral guidance and support where situations are complicated.
Services may include:
Assisting to get important documents in place
Preparation for moving residences
Completion of application forms
Oversight of moving arrangements and keeping people informed
Creating a list of key contacts and communicating change of address
Helping to establish new connections with agencies and community groups
“Frank’s children were concerned he was becoming more isolated since his wife had passed and he agreed it was time for him to move to a place where he could receive more support and connection with others. The problem was that his children lived in other parts of the country and Peter who had Power of Attorney lived overseas. There was a lot to organise before Frank could move and his children could only visit for short stays to help him.
