Assistance for seniors and their families

Helping to lift the burden.

It can become overwhelming completing application forms for subsidies and rebates. They ask for so much information to be supplied before you find out what you are entitled to. You may also have some accounts that don’t seem right and need to be followed up. 

Third Age Solutions® will assist seniors and their families to get everything sorted. We can complete and file applications to help lift the burden from you. For account queries, we will assess and help to clarify the situation with you before discussing the options available. Assistance can be provided to the senior person or their power of attorney to resolve the issue.

Services may include:

  • Sorting and securing important documents

  • Correspondence

  • Completion of applications for subsidies

  • Assisting families with transition arrangements such as selling a property

  • Communications with parties involved in the relocation of a family member

  • Support with paper work and communications following an bereavement

Marjorie was losing sleep worrying about the application for a rates rebate which had been declined. She couldn’t manage to get someone on the phone who could explain why and what she needed to do to satisfy the Council’s requirements. Her daughter, who usually organises these things for her, lives out of town and is recovering from a fall so she didn’t like to bother her with her problems.

At Marjorie’s request, Bev was able to find out what documentation was required to complete the application and in no time at all, the rebate came through.
